이채｜ Lee Chae 물감을 바르고 덮고 지워내는 반복의 행위에 의한 푸른 결들은 일종의 명상 행위로서 심미적 생기를 되찾기 위하는 과정이다. 더 나아가 단순히 물감을 덮고 지우는 감정적 우연의 행위에 그치지 않는다. 조형적인 계획을 통해서 앞선 반복의 행위는 형체를 찾아가고, 이렇게 형상화된 감성적인 결에 푸른 꽃이라 이름을 붙였다. 다시 말해, 푸른 꽃은 상징적인 형상이다. 꽃을 피운다는 말에는 어떤 현상이 번영하게 된다는 의미를 내포하고 있다. 푸른 꽃이 만개해 꽃잎이 흩날리면 우리의 마음속 수많은 결 사이에서 침잠할 수 있다. 푸른 꽃을 피우고자 하는 이유가 여기에 있다. A series of blue textures seen on the canvas is an answer to how we can express our minds by indicating aesthetic feelings such as artistic inspiration or yearning in a painterly way. Blue veinings created by repeated acts of covering and erasing oil color are a kind of meditation and a process to restore aesthetic vitality. Furthermore, it is not just an act of emotional coincidence that covers and erases oil. The referred act of repetition finds its shape through a formative plan, and the emotional texture formed in this way was named The Blue Flower. In other words, the blue flower is a symbolic shape. The word "flowering" implies that a phenomenon will prosper. When blue flowers are in full bloom and petals are to flutter, they can settle among the numerous texture inside our hearts. Here lies the reason to bloom blue flowers.
